Membership, advance deposit and cancellation rules for buying from Japan's auto auctions through Imperial Motors Co. Ltd.
Auction membership registration
We provide free access to clients registered on our auction platform for browsing vehicles available in Japan's auto auctions.
Auction membership registration is free of cost — sign up on our auction platform and, once verified by our team, get access to more than 100,000 vehicles in auction every week. Your information is safe with us: it is used only for invoices and the documentation required for vehicle export, and is never disclosed to any other party.
Advance deposit
An advance deposit is required before bidding on any vehicle in Japan's car auctions, depending on the price of the vehicle.

Deposit is refundable anytime before the bidding is succeeded.
* Bank charges on both sides will be deducted.
Note
- To buy any vehicle from auction, please send the deposit before any bidding.
- All payments are to be made to our Japan bank account only — see bank details. We never accept payment through any other company or individual.
- Other charges may also apply on customer request:
- Inspection (JAVIC, JAAI, EAA)
- Packing charges for container shipment
- If for any reason you want to cancel the vehicle after a successful auction bid, a cancellation fee applies: the deposit according to the table above is forfeited.
